Stage system
Built from how hiring actually works

Most trackers offer four stages: applied, interviewing, offer, rejected. Real hiring processes have more shape than that, and Bloom Onward tracks it: recruiter reply and recruiter call as their own steps, an assessment or take-home, up to three separate interview rounds, then references requested and references sent as distinct moments.
Silence gets nuance too. Ghosted (real contact happened, then it stopped), no response (nothing ever came back), withdrawn (you stepped away), and declined for another offer (they wanted you, you chose elsewhere) are four different outcomes, not one generic "rejected" bucket that erases what actually happened.
Updating a stage always shows a quick before-and-after preview first, so a hard update never just lands on you without warning. And a stage doesn't have to be right now: pick a future date for an upcoming interview and it moves automatically once that date passes, instead of you having to remember to come back and change it.
